NUM NUM~
Band l8r again from 1300 - 1800.
Seriously, I'm getting sick of band already. Everything we do during practice was to repeat the songs over and over again until we got it right w the metronome as our "conductor". It only gives us two freaking beats and it's difficult to tell which one is the first beat... We have to count, play the correct rhythm, play the correct notes, play the correct dynamics and everything else that we have to do in playing a song, I don't have the skills to do so many stuffs all at a go...
Seven more days left for HongKong and we have so much more stuffs to learn and do in this five days of band, those additional practices are seriously killing me. I still have my publicity stuffs to do but I'm not doing anything, I don't make a good head department leader at all.
I cannot control my juniors, I cannot teach them well. Although I did sectionals w them but they still sound bad, they are always out of tune, unable to play running notes, air not focused, not playing together, too soft, wrong dynamics and just so much more. Sigh. Okay, this whole chunk of words is just what I'm feeling right now, it will be over soon.
I really need to get serious and start and do things that I should be doing then sitting at one corner doing practically nothing at all.
